The 2019 AVP season kicked off on a great note in Huntington Beach, California. During the tournament AVP Academy Executive Director and Olympic volleyball coach, Scott Davenport, and I met up with Amazon Prime host Kevin Barnett to talk about the AVP youth programs across the country. AVP Academy helps boys and girls raise their confidence through beach volleyball, makes them more physically active, and helps them improve at the sport of beach volleyball which they can play throughout their lifetime. The AVP features some of the best male and female athletes in a sport that is played worldwide. As one of the featured Olympic Summer Games sports, beach volleyball has grown exponentially in popularity throughout the United States as the sport has become an NCAA officially sanctioned sport.
